In commemoration of his 100 days in office, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mr David Olusegun Odunmbaku (DOS), on Friday inspected ongoing rehabilitation of Apata Primary Healthcare Centre.
The council boss toured the healthcare centre to inspect the level of work done so far.
Speaking with newsmen after inspecting the project, Odunmbaku promised to provide solar power, furniture and other equipment when the healthcare centre is completed.
While inspecting the Apata PHC, Odunmbaku urged the contractor to ensure the healthcare centre was done according to specification.
The rehabilitation is part of his administration’s efforts to improve health care in Ojodu.
“We have come to see the level of work here, by the time it’s completed, we’ll supply them solar power to make it running smoothly, we’ll restore the water system,” he said.
He continues: “This project is the last hope of the common man, people of Ojodu must have access to quality health facility.”
He said the PHC upon completion will start working 24/7 with midwives and doctors.
