The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement, popularly known as the OK Movement, has vowed not to collapse or surrender its political structure to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Director-General of the movement, John Ughulu, stated this on Wednesday in reaction to comments by NDC National Leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, on the role of support groups in the party’s 2027 campaign.
Ughulu said the movement would not allow the NDC or any other organisation to absorb its national, state, local government and ward structures.
He maintained that the OK Movement had its own established structure and would continue to operate independently ahead of the 2027 elections.
Dickson had argued that political support groups should complement the political party rather than compete with it or operate as parallel structures.
