Adetoro Hosts Free Medical Outreach for Eti-Osa Residents

The Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government, Omo’ba Adeola Alimot Adetoro, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, hosted a free medical outreach programme at the Council Secretariat aimed at providing accessible healthcare services to residents, particularly the elderly.

The initiative, organized under the leadership of Adetoro, seeks to address the healthcare needs of the aged population who often face difficulties in accessing medical attention.

According to the press statement made available by the Public Affairs Unit, Eti-Osa Local Government, the program was part of her administration’s broader effort to promote healthy living and build a stronger, more vibrant community.

During the outreach, residents benefited from a wide range of services including health education, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, dental examinations with extractions, eye screening with free glasses, malaria and hepatitis B screening, family planning, immunization, medical consultation, and free medication.

According to the council, the exercise was designed to help detect, prevent, and manage common illnesses among residents while also enhancing general well-being across Eti-Osa.

The Chairman reaffirmed her commitment to improving public health standards and ensuring that no resident is left behind in accessing quality healthcare.
