Nollywood actress and United States-based entrepreneur, Mrs. Arewa Bukky Amos-Bello, is in a joyous mood as her daughter, Adekemi, and her husband, Damisola, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in the United Kingdom.
The baby arrived today, Thursday, September 25, 2025, marking the couple’s first child since their wedding in August 2023, a high-class social event held in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
The delighted grandmother reportedly left her US base for the UK immediately after receiving the news, eager to fulfill her role as a grandmother and support her daughter and grandchild.
Expressing her excitement at the new addition to the family, Bukky said:
“I’m extremely happy and full of thanks to Jehovah for making me a grandmother. Firstly, my children—my daughter and her hubby—changed my title from mother to mother-of-the-bride. Now, they’ve transformed it further to grandmother. I’m so joyful, and I’m here with them to offer my loving and supportive presence, providing them comfort, companionship, and reassurance.”
