In an era where leadership is often reduced to loud rhetoric and broken promises, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor)  shines differently. His legacy isn’t crafted in empty declarations—it’s written in lives uplifted, destinies changed, and futures secured.

Back in 2018, when Jandor Foundation quietly rolled out full scholarships for students across Nigeria, it wasn’t a PR move—it was a purposeful mission. Among the many chosen was Maryam Lawal, then a hopeful Law student from Lagos State University. Today, that same Maryam has become a national icon.

Ekiti 2026: The Symbolic Submission of Governor Oyebanji vs. the Envy-Laden Submission by the Atiku of Ekiti

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the Nigerian Law School Call to Bar Ceremony in Abuja—out of 7,134 graduates—Maryam emerged as the Best Graduating Female Student in Nigeria and Second Overall Best Graduating Student nationwide.

From being a name on a beneficiary list to becoming a beacon of academic excellence, Maryam’s journey is proof that real leadership doesn’t just open doors—it changes entire stories.

*Jandor Didn’t Just Fund Education—He Planted Seeds of Hope

*Maryam’s* success is extraordinary—but it’s not an outlier. It is the fruit of a vision that has consistently looked beyond social divides and financial barriers to discover potential. Jandor didn’t just invest in tuition—he invested in transformation.

And she isn’t alone.

From law scholars to political science graduates like Jimoh Azeez Kayode of UNILORIN, and from physically challenged students to children from low-income families across the nation, Jandor’s generosity has touched thousands. Every cheque handed out by his foundation is not a favour—it’s a stepping stone.

*True Leadership, Measured by Impact*

Parents, school proprietors, and fellow beneficiaries all speak of the ripple effect Jandor has triggered—students now study harder, children dare to dream bigger, and communities feel seen.

*Why We Must Give Him His Flowers—Now*

Jandor has never waited for office to do good. With his personal funds and passionate team, he’s been solving problems leaders often overlook—from paying hospital bills to giving business grants, distributing relief items, and sponsoring education.

Now imagine what more he could do, if empowered by public office.

In Jandor, we don’t just have a politician—we have a people builder. A man whose every act affirms the truth: *when you lift one, you lift all.*

*Maryam Is the Testimony. Jandor Is the Vision.*

This moment isn’t just about celebrating one brilliant young woman—it’s about recognizing the man behind the movement. As Funke Ijayekunle, Central Coordinator of the APC’s Lagos4Lagos Movement , affirms, this is just the beginning.

More lives will be changed. But the mission remains the same: *People First. Always.*

Let us give him his flowers—not only as thanks for the lives he has already transformed, but as fuel for the work ahead. Because for every Maryam that rises, a generation wakes up to what’s possible.

And behind that awakening… is Jandor.

Hon. Funke Ijayekunle
Central Coordinator, APC’s Lagos4Lagos Movement
