The event was graced by key figures, including the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat; the Senior Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Media, Publicity, and Special Duties, Mr. Tunde Rahman; and Alhaji (Chief) Sikiru Alabi-Macfoy, the Baba Adini of Lagos and Executive Chairman of Lagos Central Mosque.

Also present were Senator Musiliu Obanikoro and renowned Islamic scholars from across the state.

The epoch-making event was put together by Hon. Bisi Yusuff, the apex leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alimosho Federal Constituency in honour of The Lion of Bourdillon.

Speaking on the significance of the occasion, Hon. Bisi Yusuff described President Tinubu as a visionary leader whose life has been dedicated to service, governance, and national development.

“This prayer session is a testament to the deep respect and admiration we have for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His unflinching commitment to democracy, economic growth, and the upliftment of the Nigerian people is truly commendable. As we celebrate his 73rd birthday, we pray for Allah’s continued guidance and wisdom upon him,” Hon. Bisi Yusuff stated.

He emphasized the role of faith, unity, and prayer in shaping governance and national progress. “At a time when Nigeria is undergoing significant transformation, we must continue to seek divine intervention for our leaders and nation. President Tinubu has laid a strong foundation for renewed hope, and it is our collective duty to support his vision for a better Nigeria,” he said.

As prayers were offered for peace, stability, and prosperity in the country, Hon. Bisi Yusuff reaffirmed his commitment to promoting good governance and ensuring the well-being of Nigerians.

According to the two-term former chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, “Together, we offered heartfelt prayers, seeking Allah’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for Mr. President as he leads our great nation.

“Moments like these remind us of the power of faith, unity, and prayer in shaping the course of governance and national progress. As we celebrate Asiwaju’s legacy and vision, I reaffirm my commitment to supporting good governance, fostering unity, and ensuring the well-being of our people.

“May Allah bless our dear President with good health and the strength to steer Nigeria to greater heights. May our nation continue to experience peace, stability, and progress,” said the three-term member of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
