…Moves to Restore Peace in Rivers
The House of Representatives on Thursday adopted President Bola Tinubu’s proclamation through a voice vote, with 243 members in attendance.
As part of its recommendations, the House proposed the establishment of a national committee to restore peace in Rivers State.
Additionally, it recommended that the National Assembly take over the functions of the Rivers State House of Assembly for six months.
