Former President Muhammadu Buhari has once again affirmed his unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasizing that he remains a dedicated member of the ruling party and wants to be recognized as such.

In a statement signed by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Wednesday, March 13, 2025, Buhari made it clear that his allegiance to the APC is unshakable, stating, “I am an APC member, and I like to be addressed as such. I will try to popularise the party by all means.”

The former president’s reaffirmation comes at a time when party leaders at various levels are engaged in discussions on key political developments.

While he did not reference any individual or specific issues, his declaration serves as a strong message about his continued involvement in the party’s growth and stability.

Buhari expressed deep gratitude for the support he received from the APC throughout his two-term presidency, describing it as the highest honor of his political career.

He stressed that he has no further demands from the party but remains committed to advancing its ideals.

Furthermore, the former president acknowledged the sacrifices made by the party’s founding fathers in building a formidable platform to uphold democracy and the Nigerian Constitution.

He urged party members to cherish and sustain those efforts, reinforcing the need for unity and dedication in moving the APC forward.
