Paris Saint-Germain, on Wednesday, put on a dominant display at the Parc des Princes, demolishing Brest 7-0 in the Champions League knockout round play-offs to advance with an emphatic 10-0 aggregate victory.

The Parisians opened the scoring in the 20th minute through Bradley Barcola, who finished off a well-timed assist from Fabián Ruiz.

The home side doubled their lead just before halftime, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia finding the net in the 39th minute after an assist from Barcola.

After heading into the break with a 2-0 lead, PSG intensified their attacking pressure in the second half.

Vitinha made it 3-0 in the 59th minute, again assisted by Ruiz before Désiré Doué added a fourth in the 64th minute with help from Gonçalo Ramos.

Brest’s struggles continued as they picked up two yellow cards, first for M. Haïdara in the 67th minute and later for J. Le Cardinal in the 80th.

Meanwhile, PSG showed no mercy, with Nuno Mendes scoring in the 69th minute from an Achraf Hakimi assist.

Gonçalo Ramos then got his name on the scoresheet in the 76th minute, assisted by Doué, before Senny Mayulu sealed the rout in the 86th minute after being set up by Kvaratskhelia.

The overwhelming victory confirmed PSG’s superiority over Brest, with the French champions registering a flawless 10-0 aggregate score over the two legs.

With this dominant result, PSG moved confidently into the next stage of the Champions League, while Brest bowed out of the competition after a humbling defeat.
