As part of the activities marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
The broadcast is scheduled for 7 a.m.
The address will be transmitted via major electronic media platforms, including television and radio.
Citizens are encouraged to tune in through the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to listen to the President’s speech.
This address forms part of the annual tradition of reflecting on Nigeria’s progress and challenges since gaining independence in 1960.
Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, confirmed this in a statement on Monday.
