As Nigeria marks another milestone in its history, Hon. K.K. Alidu, a Commissioner at the Lagos State House of Assembly Service Commission, has extends his warmest felicitations to the people of Lagos and Nigerians across the nation on the occasion of the country’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
Hon. Alidu in an Independence Day message to Nigerians, commended their resilience, perseverance, and unwavering spirit in the face of the various challenges the country has encountered over the years.
He emphasized that despite these trials, the determination of the citizens to forge ahead and contribute to national growth remains commendable.
“Our collective strength as a nation lies in our ability to remain resolute even in difficult times. The resilience and perseverance shown by Lagosians and Nigerians in general is a testament to the spirit of unity that has kept us together as one nation,” he stated.
The Commissioner also took the opportunity to urge citizens to continue embracing the values of unity, love, and peace.
He stressed that only through unity and mutual understanding can Nigeria overcome its challenges and continue to grow as a great nation.
“As we celebrate this significant day in our nation’s history, I call on all Lagosians and Nigerians to reflect on the importance of love and unity in building a stronger and more prosperous country. Let us continue to stand by one another, irrespective of our differences, and work towards the betterment of Nigeria,” he averred.
He wished Lagosians a joyous Independence Day celebration while expressing hope for a more peaceful, united, and prosperous Nigeria in the years to come.
