United States President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that he is ending his reelection campaign against Donald Trump, a historic decision that thrusts the already volatile 2024 White House race into uncharted waters.
“Although my intention was to seek reelection, I believe that stepping down is in the best interest of my party and the country.
“I will concentrate fully on fulfilling my responsibilities as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden stated in a letter posted on X.
