Hon. Nurudeen Bukola Sofidiya, the Convener of Gidado Foundation, has publicly praised the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, calling him a remarkable leader and true father figure.

In a recent meeting, Sofidiya compared himself to the biblical prodigal son who returned home to his father after being politically misled, and was welcomed with open arms.

Sofidiya expressed his gratitude towards Obasa for his leadership in placing Agege on the world map of greatness, and for mentoring and encouraging young leaders like himself.

He also announced a new project, “THE JIGI MUDA,” aimed at providing basic optical treatment to less privileged members of the Agege and Orile community, particularly the elderly, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and children.

The project is a way for Sofidiya to support Obasa’s efforts in serving the people of Agege, and to give back to the community that has given him so much.

When asked about his own political ambitions, Sofodiya stated that he is ready to serve his people if given the opportunity, but only with the blessing of Obasa.

Sofidiya emphasized his trust and loyalty to Obasa, describing him as a dependable leader and the symbol of possibility.

He believes that with Obasa’s guidance and support, he can make a positive impact in the community and continue the legacy of service and leadership that Obasa has established in Agege.
