The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has issued a caveat regarding the affairs of FBN Holdings PLC until the resolution of a case filed by disgruntled shareholders.

The CAC conveyed this information in a letter dated September 20, 2023, signed by Chidinma Maureen Nwite on behalf of the Registrar-General.

The letter, addressed to Adebayo & Gbadamosi Legal Practitioners in Abuja, stated that FBN Holdings PLC’s record has been placed on caveat pending the outcome of Suit No. FHC/L/CS/1575/2023.

This action follows interim orders from the Federal High Court restraining FBN Holdings PLC from conducting its purported Annual General Meeting held on August 15, 2023.

Additionally, FBN Holdings has been embroiled in various court cases since 2022 challenging its governance and shareholding structure, including the case of Olusegun Samuel Onagoruwa v. FBN Holdings Plc. (Suit No. FHC/L/CP/1271/2022).
