Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has featured American R&B singer and songwriter, Gabriella Wilson, popularly known as H.E.R., on the remix of ‘Lonely At The Top’.
Asake was recently nominated for Grammy Awards alongside YBNL record label boss, Olamide; Davido, Ayra Starr, and Burna Boy.
Asake and Olamide’s ‘Amapiano’, Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys’, Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’, Davido and Musa Keys’ ‘Unavailable’, and Tyla’s ‘Water’ were the nominees in a newly created category, Best African Music Performance.
The remix was released on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
H.E.R. disclosed the news of the remix on her official Instagram handle on Wednesday, saying, “Asake, you’re amazing!!! Lonely at the top remix drops at midnight!!!!!!!”
Lonely at the top is one of Asake’s ‘Work Of Art’ album released in 2023.
