The Election Transparency Africa, ETA, has congratulated the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the ongoing governorship election as the group projects him as the winner.
In a Press Release circulated by the group in Abuja on Sunday 12th November, signed by the Group’s convener, Comrade Peter Oyewale ,it states that
“Considering the way the election has gone and the realities on ground as of today in Kogi State, it is evident that Alhaji Usman Ododo has won the Kogi governorship election by our observation.
“However, we await the final collations and declaration of the results by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. We seize this opportunity to commend INEC for a job well done and the security agencies for ensuring a substantially peaceful election. We call on the Commission to resist any attempt by any political forces to compromise the results in any way or form and we caution all those trying to cause trouble to desist from it immediately”, the group stated
