A 2-time Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro has penned a congratulatory letter to the three-term speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.

I write on behalf of myself, family and political associates to heartily and warmly congratulate you on your re-election as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly for a third consecutive term.
My brother, your re-election as Speaker is not a surprise to those of us who believe it is a reward for your hard work, loyalty, leadership acumen, trust and capacity to, yet again, lead the House to another excellent legislative term.
Your positive disposition, focus, ingenuity, loyalty to our party and it’s leaders are uncommon traits that I believe you will deploy in our leading Assembly, which, with the cooperation of the Executive, will take our darling State to greater heights.
Once again, do kindly accept my heartfelt felicitation, my brother, even as I wish you a successful tenure.
