Prof Abdulkabir Paramole has cautioned Muslims against the consequences of envy saying Allah will not spare those found culpable of the act in the hereafter.

He gave this warning at 8th Edition of Prince Tajudeen Olusi Foundation Ramadan Lecture held on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi.

Prof Paramole who spoke on the “consequences of envy according to Islam” said Muslims who observed all the rules of Ramadan fast will not envy other colleague.

According to him, the society will be better for it if love is spread among all irrespective of tribes and religions.

The Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Alabi Macfoy described Prince Tajudeen Olusi as one of the strong pillars of Islam in the state.

He said Prince Olusi was a mentor to many in the state in many ways.

On his part, the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Hon Abayomi Daramola said the annual Ramadan Lecture had impacted positively on the lives of the people.

Alhaji Sina Saba who spoke on the history of the Foundation said it was established after the 80th birthday of Prince Olusi.

He said that what Baba Olusi stands for is the development of the society and empowerment of the youths.

According to him, through him some of the Terxiary Institutions in Lagos including, YABATECH, LASU, and UNILAG enjoys endowment from Prince Tajudeen Olusi towards the growth of Education in the state and the nation at large.

He said that they are in the process of building a Vocational School and a Mosque on a land donated to the Board of Trustees by Prince Tajudeen Olusi.

One of the children of Prince Olusi, Tijani Olusi who is the Chairman, Lagos Island Local Government described his father as God fearing man who want the best for people around him all the time.
