As the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, Hon. KK Alidu, Commissioner at the Lagos State House of Assembly Service Commission, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Lagos State and beyond on the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Alidu expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the strength and discipline required to observe the Ramadan fast. He urged Muslims to uphold the values of piety, love, and selflessness imbibed during the holy month.
“Eid al-Fitr is a time of thanksgiving, reflection, and compassion. As we celebrate, let us continue to embrace the spirit of unity and peaceful coexistence that Islam preaches. May the lessons of Ramadan—patience, sacrifice, and generosity—remain with us,” he stated.
The Commissioner also called on Lagosians to use the festive period to pray for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in the state and the nation at large.
Hon. Alidu further assured of his commitment to serving the people diligently, in line with the vision of the Lagos State House of Assembly and the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He wished all Muslims a happy and fulfilling Eid celebration, urging them to celebrate responsibly while sharing love and kindness with family, friends, and the less privileged.
