As Nigerians troop out again Saturday, March 11 for governorship election, a campaign group, Sanwo-Olu for Governor Again (SAFOGA) during the week intensified it’s door-to-door campaign for the second term bid of the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Led by its Chief Campaigner, Comrade Razaq Olokoba, the team combed the areas like, Agidingbi, Agege, Ojodu, Berger and Omole axis of the city sensitising the residents on the need to reelect the governor with a view to continue the good work he has started since 2019 that he came on board as governor.

Olokoba, who was accompanied by some of his members told our reporter that responses from the residents of the areas visited were heartwarming saying almost all of them agreed that Sanwo-Olu has done well and so should be allowed to continue the constitutionally allowed second term in office.

Speaking further, Olokoba, who also doubles as the National President of the Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), expressed the delights that, all the residents that hosted them were unanimous in their convictions that it would be dangerous to hand over Lagos State to non-starters and inexperienced politicians who would turn the state to a trial and error experiment, enthusing that, by the grace of God, Sanwo-Olu would coast home victorious on Saturday for a second term in office commencing on May 29, 2023.

The renowned activist and political observer assured that the sensitization bombardment would continue till Thursday when the campaign for the governorship poll would officially round off, expressing optimism that, the landslide victory awaiting Sanwo-Olu on Saturday would be unprecedented in the electoral annals of Lagos State.
