Ahead of March 11 2023 Governorship election in Delta State, our under cover reporters has gathered that the Labour Party Candidate, Chief Kennedy Kawharebie Pela is leading other 10 political Parties to form ALLIANCE with the APC Governorship Candidate- the Deputy Senate President Sen.Ovie Omo-Agege.
Our source who is a State Chairman of one the opposition Parties in the State and did not want his name in print revealed that they held a close door meeting in the palace of Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege at Orogun in his home town last night (Friday). He further told our reporters that Omo-Agege offered other Political Parties 50m each and juicy appointments when he becomes the Governor of Delta State but for LP candidate, the DSP rejected his demands and proposal as he was said to have demanded that LP should be given the slot of Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and some other key ministries in APC government.
Our under cover reporters also gathered that the DSP is playing the script of the President elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu who has given him a matching order to do anything possible for APC to take over the Oil rich State. We also learnt that Asiwaju Tinubu has promised to bankroll the Governorship election of Delta State as he is bent in getting one of the Oil rich States to APC.
Whether this alliance has been sealed or not is what we are yet to find out as we were informed that the discussions is still on-going.
