Coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), under the umbrella of Razaq Kolade Olokoba (RKO) Political Organization has expressed faith in the ability of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to deliver Osun State to the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the next Saturday, July 16, governorship election.
Recall Sanwo-Olu is the leader of the 86 member campaign team set up by the national leadership of the APC mandated to ensure the return of the party’s flag bearer, Isiaka Oyetola.
So, as Sanwo-Olu led the team and other party chieftains that include the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the State stadium Tuesday for a Mega Rally, Convener of the Coalition, Comrade Razaq Kolade Olokoba expressed the confidence that victory is certain for the APC next Saturday.
According to him, Sanwo-Olu’s influence as a performer in Lagos State will sway votes for Oyetola whose achievement in Osun State has made the next Saturday election a mere formality.
Olokoba who made the belief of members of the Coalition known in Osogbo Tuesday reminded that, “the Osun project is not Sanwo-Olu’s first assignment of that kind,” saying, he had earlier done such in Ondo State and his team succeeded in returning Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to office for his second term.”
Against this background, Olokoba, who also doubles as the National President of the Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), is of the belief that, “Sanwo-Olu’s Midas Touch combined with Oyetola’s performance and the ability of the members of the team of eminent personalities would see the APC through next Saturday.”
Rounding off, Olokoba, a respected political observer, social analyst and public commentator also assured Sanwo-Olu of his Coalition’s support for his project, promising to mobilize voters towards a successful outing on Saturday.
