The Renewed Hope Network (TRN) has announced plans to mobilise more than 55,000 Nigerians for a nationwide prayer rally in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during a press briefing on Wednesday, May 7, 2026, the Director General of the group, Mohammad Oyinlomo Danmole, said the initiative forms part of the organisation’s broader grassroots mobilisation campaign aimed at strengthening support for the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.

Danmole described TRN as a people-oriented movement focused on connecting directly with Nigerians at the community level through local engagement, cultural inclusion, and civic participation.

He acknowledged the contributions of the organisation’s National Leader, Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari, the Lagos State Convener, James Abiodun Faleke, and other state coordinators for their roles in expanding the network nationwide.

According to him, the organisation remains committed to building nationwide support for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition in 2027.

As part of its activities, TRN will host a large-scale congregational prayer programme on Saturday, May 10, 2026, bringing together participants from across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, including religious groups, youth organisations, market associations, artisans, and community stakeholders.

Danmole explained that the gathering would focus on prayers for national peace, economic progress, stability, and divine direction for the current administration.

He added that the event would also serve as an official endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term in office.

“At the prayer gathering, the Renewed Hope Network will formally declare its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027,” he stated.

The group also endorsed the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as its preferred candidate for the 2027 Lagos governorship race, describing him as a competent administrator with vast experience in governance and public service.

Danmole commended the Tinubu administration for implementing what he called far-reaching reforms in key sectors, including the economy, infrastructure, education, security, and social development.

While noting that some policies may come with temporary challenges, he maintained that the reforms were necessary steps toward long-term national growth and economic recovery.

He further disclosed that TRN would intensify its grassroots campaigns and community outreach programmes across the country, particularly among youths, women, traders, farmers, and traditional institutions.

Danmole urged Nigerians to put aside ethnic, religious, and political differences and participate in the forthcoming prayer programme in the interest of national unity and development.

He said the movement remained determined to strengthen democratic participation and inspire collective efforts toward building a more prosperous Nigeria.
