With just five days to go, anticipation is reaching a fever pitch ahead of the official launch of the Produce for Lagos Programme, a groundbreaking initiative poised to reshape Nigeria’s food supply, security, and agricultural economy.

Spearheaded by the Lagos State Government in partnership with the Lagos Food Systems Infrastructure Company, this bold programme is designed to link producers from across the country to new markets, enhance logistics, and attract major investments into agricultural value chains.

At its core, Produce for Lagos aims to bridge the gap between food producers and urban demand, reduce post-harvest losses, strengthen rural economies, and ultimately ensure long-term food security for Nigeria’s most populous state.

We are getting closer to a milestone that will reshape food supply and security.

The PRODUCE FOR LAGOS Programme is a bold, nation-focused initiative designed to connect producers across Nigeria, unlocking new markets, improving logistics, and driving investment into our agricultural value chains.

Led by the Lagos State Government in collaboration with the Lagos Food Systems Infrastructure Company, this programme is a model of public-private partnership aimed at long-term food security.
