President Bola Tinubu has appointed Daniel Bwala, a prominent lawyer and public affairs analyst, as the Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.
The announcement, made by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, also introduced three new directors-general to lead various government agencies.
Bwala, a seasoned media strategist known for his incisive public commentary, will bring his expertise to the State House, where he will oversee media relations and communications strategy for the administration.
In addition to Bwala, the president also appointed:
•Mr. Olawale Olopade as Director-General of the National Sports Commission. Olopade is an experienced sports administrator who previously served as the commissioner of youth and sports in Ogun State and chaired the 2024 National Sports Festival’s local organizing committee.
•Dr. Abisoye Fagade as Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. Fagade, a marketing communications professional, is the founder and managing director of Sodium Brand Solutions.
•Dr. Adebowale Adedokun as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement. Adedokun has served within the bureau as director of research, training, and strategic planning.
President Tinubu urged the new appointees to uphold their responsibilities with dedication, patriotism, and excellence as they serve the nation.
