Folorunsho Alakija, Nigeria’s wealthiest woman, and her husband Modupe Alakija have reportedly separated after more than 30 years of marriage.
According to a report by TheWill, the couple, who have four children, are no longer residing together in their home in the upscale area of Ikoyi, Lagos.
Alleged frequent disagreements led Folorunsho Alakija to seek increased privacy, resulting in her husband finding separate accommodation within the same Ikoyi neighborhood.
Sources suggest that despite their separation, the couple has maintained a united front publicly due to their prominent status in society.
