This was communicated at a news briefing after extensive deliberations on the need to ensure all members of our community have access to comprehensive, quality and affordable health care.

Furthermore, this decision was reached following the need to address the brain drain currently being experienced in the nations medical field, the current cost of inflation, amongst other things.

The Executive Chairman reiterated his belief that we have the best doctors globally and if given the right welfare and incentives, it will serve as a catalyst for their sustained commitment to the nation.

This announcement comes on the heels of the commencement of the construction of a  state-of-the-art primary health center that will cater to a larger number of people in the community.

In his final remarks, the Executive Chairman reiterated the councils commitment to supporting the efforts of our esteemed president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Mr Governor Babajide Sanwolu in delivering quality and affordable healthcare to all citizens. We believe that by investing in our healthcare professionals, we are taking a step towards achieving this goal.

Thank you, and together, let’s work towards a healthier and happier community.
