In a dramatic turn of events, Revolutionplus Property Development Company finds redemption after a meeting convened by the Lagos State Government (LASG) to address false allegations made by Mr. Kayode Oladipo.
The Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu Fatai, led the mediation, revealing a significant discrepancy in Oladipo’s claims. The company provided evidence of the actual payment, refuting Oladipo’s viral video accusations of a fraudulent land deal amounting to N40 million.
During the meeting, Oladipo admitted to a job loss affecting his ability to meet payment deadlines, and it was clarified that he paid N18 million, not the alleged N40 million.
Revolutionplus Property’s CEO, Dr. Bamidele Onalaja, presented proof that the actual payment was N16,752,000. Oladipo, who initially claimed to have returned in 2020, later confessed to revisiting the issue in 2022, six years after his initial payment, seeking the same land.
Expressing empathy for Oladipo’s financial situation, Dr. Onalaja assured alternatives equivalent to the funds paid and, out of respect for the Lagos State Government, offered an alternative location at Amazon Estate, Epe. The company acknowledged the mediation efforts of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu’s administration and reiterated its commitment to legal operations and customer satisfaction.
To settle the matter, Commissioner Fatai proposed that Oladipo issue a public retraction video, acknowledging the company’s integrity and the resolution facilitated by the Lagos State Government. Upon completion of the video, the promised alternative land will be promptly allotted to Oladipo, bringing a conclusion to the episode that has captivated public attention.
As the video retraction is awaited, Revolutionplus Property Development Company extends gratitude to the Lagos State Government for mediating and appreciates its loyal customers who stood by them during this challenging period. The company remains resolute in its dedication to service and customer satisfaction.
