A Chartered Public Administrator (CPA), Comrade Razaq Olokoba has given kudos to the 60 year old Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (BRF), over his performance on the Channels Television where he featured on the station’s popular programme, Politics on Sunday.
The programme, which was aired last Sunday, according to Olokoba in a statement, brought the best out of the former two terms Governor of Lagos State as he answered all the questions thrown to him with mathematical facts and figures to the administration of the viewers across the world, describing him as a brilliant product on top of the political game in the country.
Olokoba, a renowned activist and social commentator was particularly thrilled where the minister dissected the country’s politics vis-à-vis the just concluded general election and arrived at how the oppositions’ political nivity gave victory to the master of the game, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the youthful youth leader, who doubles as the Convener and National President of the Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), “Fashola’s postulation with his in-depth political mathematical analysis has once again confirmed his brilliance, competence and confident disposition of an administrator of a no mean repute who can be saddled with any responsibility, no matter how very tough any day any time,” adding, “No wonder he has been excelling in any duty post providence has put across his shoulders!”
Going down the memory lane, the Ilorin, Kwara State born pro-democracy unbowed fighter recalled that, “Fashola’s superlative performance as Chief of Staff to the present President-elect, when the latter was the Executive Governor of Lagos State earned him (BRF) the elevation to later become the governor of the state himself and he performed excellently in office,” adding that, “currently as, Minister of Works and Housing, he is not disappointing the Nigerian people either.”
Olokoba, who is also a Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), therefore expressed the confidence that, “as Fashola has become a reference point in public administration as Governor of Lagos State, he is most likely to be a reference point as an excellent performer at the federal level at the end of this administration’s tenure,” felicitating the Nigerian people on their luck to be blessed by the good Lord with a workaholic achiever like Fashola.
“With the likes of Fashola around the corridors of power for any administration that means well for the citizenry, the populace could go to sleep with the assurance that, good governance would be guaranteed,” the vocal public analyst enthused, reminding that, “Fashola’s activities at the Ministry of Works and Housing that earned him the appellation of ‘Mr Infrastructure’ is also a testimony that the people of Nigeria are appreciative of his performance in office and are likely to ask him for more.”
