A former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro has commiserated with Nigerians, Muslim Ummah and the legal profession in entirety on the demise of the former Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Prince Abdul Jabar Bola Ajibola.
Obanikoro in a statement, according to his Special Assistant, Sulaimon Adebiyi, described the death of the frontline Jurist as an irreparable loss to Nigeria, the Islamic community, global legal community, academia and royalty.
The All Progressives Congress Chieftain noted that the elderstateman was, until his last breath, a strong pillar of religious moderation, an icon, one of the global Titans, a beacon of peace and a pillar of moderate religious leaning and preacher of peace, whose whole life was of noble service to the nation, having served meritoriously in various capacities as an accomplished public servant”
Obanikoro who prayed for the repose of the octogenarian’s soul, sought for the immortalization of the globally celebrated Jurist, whose life and times whose worthy life remain a source of inspiration to the younger generation.
