A pro-Sanwo-Olu campaign organization, Sanwo-Olu for Governor Again (SAFOGA), has thanked the people of Lagos State on their commitment towards returning the state governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office, assuring them that the governor will not disappoint them.
SAFOGA is a brain child of a Chartered Public Administrator (CPA), member, Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), and Security Consultant as well as the Convener and National President of the Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG) Comrade Razaq Olokoba.
The group, in a statement from its spokesperson, Comrade Adekunle Adeosun made available to the media on Sunday said, “the belief and confidence reposed in the governor would not be betrayed,” assuring that, “all your yearnings, aspirations and expectations would be met by Sanwo—Olu in his characteristic as a man who walks his talk.”
According to the statement, Sanwo-Olu is mindful of reasons the people gave him a renewed mandate to proceed in office for another four years and so would not want to let the people down, insisting that, all the people oriented programs of his administration across all the sectors of the economy would be pursued to logical conclusions knowing full well that, the second term in office guaranteed him by the populace was for the sake of continuity.
Adeosun expressed the delight that, Governor Sanwo-Olu himself has voiced it out that, the second term mandate given to him by the good people of the state was to enjoy the continuity of good job his administration has been doing since 2019 and promised to continue and even do more for the satisfaction of the citizenry.
While describing Sanwo-Olu has an administrator who is appreciative of support, assistance and cooperation accorded him from 2019 till date, Adeosun said, he will not rest on his oars until he reciprocate the good gestures via more dividends of democracy that would be delivered to the door steps of every resident of the state, assuring that, “Sanwo-Olu is a man with proven integrity.”
The SAFOGA Secretary reminded that, “our support for the governor from the inception is borne out of his capability to pass the secret Integrity Tests severally conducted for him by the Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), an organization headed by the renowned Political Analyst, Comrade Razaq Olokoba.
Rounding off, the statement appealed to the people not to relent in their support for the governor in his second term just as they they supported him throughout his first term that is winding off, reminding that, “it is not over until it is properly over.”
