Market men and women in the Lagos Island Local Government Area have declared support for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, BOLA TINUBU.
They made this known on Thursday during their house-to-house campaign rally ahead of the general elections.
The marketers under the aegis of Textile Traders resolved to cast their ballots for all the candidates of the ruling APC in Lagos.
The Convener of the rally, KUDIRAT OYINLOMO DANMOLE said their support for TINUBU was for the unity of Nigeria.
She said the traders have realised that TINUBU remains the most competent of all the candidates.
Iyaloja-General Textile Traders, Lagos Island, RISIKAT AMORI-ODUMOSU said they are in full support of all the APC candidates from the state to the national levels.
An APC leader in Lagos, FUAD OKI said the election is about the future of Nigeria and the traders, adding that TINUBU will recognize the rights of every Nigerian, if elected.
While addressing the gathering, the state APC Deputy Chairman, MOSHOOD MAIYEGUN urged the people to be peaceful before, during and after the general elections.
He enjoined them to ensure that their vote count.
