The church known world wide for giving spiritual breakthrough is now given a bad name because if the actions of others.

CCC was founded by S.B.J.Oshoffa in the year 1947 as ordained by the holy spirit alongside the tenets. It is both a local and international church.

Ekiti 2026: The Symbolic Submission of Governor Oyebanji vs. the Envy-Laden Submission by the Atiku of Ekiti

In less than six months, this humble church has been on the news frequently and regularly and has caught the attention of both Nigerians and the mass congregation of the church world-wide. And Nigerians are just talking what they feel happens  in the church,i.e. their shortcomings.

The attention Yahoo boys and female members drinking hennessey in church premises have given the church and brought the church to the limelight. The cross they put on their wrists, water they drink, the perfumes they spray and so on are said to aid the Yahoo boys in talking to their clients”osu”. The making of cross for them by the priests is for protection and nothing more.

It is important to attend the church in order to know the rules and regulations guiding the church. It is termed the “announcements” (ifilo) which equips newcomers and young ones to know all that happens in the church. Announcements that tells what to do and what not to do .As a member, I have attended a lot of Cele churches to know how they do regardless of most of the general public who wants to go there and join them in “doing oogun” to become rich.

The church offers services to self empowerment that aids self Independence. Sadly,  some people attends the church to broadcast their shortcomings instead of bringing in ways to help the less privileged in the church. Many influential persons in the church go to the church’s headquarters at Imeko to sponsor the church in building the cathedral and the alleged University.

Some others, like other churches not under and registered by Celestial Church of Christ parochial committee are the real perpetrators involved in diabolical acts. Churches like that serves as a tool that makes the church go global but tarnish it’s reputation. People should look forward to the relevance and impact made by CCC than their shortcomings.

Also, the headquarters should  enforce rules concerning their branches iso that they will not consider themselves inferior to other churches. Nigerians should also note that they can know nothing about a church without fully participating in it.
