It was fun galore on Tuesday July 26 at the end of season party of De Pillars Nursery and Primary School, Ota, Ogun State as pupils of the school entertained parents and guests with various dramas and cultural displays.
In his opening speech, Head Teacher of the school, Mr Ibrahim Bamidele thanked parents and guardians for their efforts at seeing the progress of their wards as well as the growth of the Young school.
While acting Oliver Twist by asking for more, Bamidele reminded that “importance of Education in the life of children can never be over overemphasized,” urging the parents not to relent in their struggle to see their wards attain solid foundation for greatness in life.”
Concluding, the school’s Head Teacher stated emphatically that, “to reap the fruit of their labour, they require patience, hard work and fervent prayers,” adding, “noting comes easy in life.”
Father of the day and the Proprietor of Al-Mustapha Arabic and Islamic Institute, Ota, Ogun State, Sheik Surajudeen Mustapha, urged the parents and guardians not to relax in praying always for their children and wards against devilish influence on them, reminding that, “We are now in an era when even the kids are being recruited and initiated into bad and satanic groups and Organizations.”
Matron of the school, Mrs Lateefat Dairo, in her votes of thank, appreciated the guests for attending the occasion, it is an act of encouragement for the young kids to look towards the future with hope and enthusiasm.
There was announcement and refreshments for the pupils, their parents and the guests.
