The profile of Dr (Mrs) Abosede Oluyinka-Ogundimu continues to rise with her recent election into the prestigious and powerful Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) reports thegazellenews.com
Dr (Mrs) Oluyinka-Ogundimu is the Divisional Head of Providus Bank, a fastly growing new generation commercial bank in Nigeria. She is also the wife of three-term member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Dr Oluyinka Ogundimu.
Thegazellenews.com learnt that Dr (Mrs) Oluyinka-Ogundimu was elected into the CIBN’s Governing Council during its annual meeting last week in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Thegazellenews.com’s investigations revealed that 15 potential members contested for the four available slots but it is noteworthy to note that Dr (Mrs) Oluyinka-Ogundimu not only picked one of the slots but also received the highest number of votes coming first in the election.
The fact that she came first in the election, thegazellenews.com learnt, was a testament to the general acceptance of Dr (Mrs) Oluyinka-Ogundimu.
Currently, she is the First Vice Chairman of the Lagos chapter of the CIBN.
