During the discussion, Hon Ajala cautioned against cultism, child labour, and bullying, urging students to “choose the path of hard work over shortcuts.”

Hon. Jakande, a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, encouraged students to view education as the foundation for leadership.

“Today, we celebrate not just your achievements but your potential,” he told the young audience. “The future belongs to those who prepare for it. Stay focused, dream big, and let integrity guide you.”

The Chairman also took the opportunity to urge the children to encourage their parents and teachers to actively participate in the upcoming local government elections. He emphasised that their involvement would lead to improved educational opportunities by electing leaders who prioritise the needs of the youth.

Additionally, he highlighted the importance of maintaining good governance in the community and called for support for Hon. Seyi Jakande, who is poised to succeed him in the July elections.

Corporate partners such as Globus Bank contributed to the event’s success by distributing gifts, reinforcing their commitment to youth development.

The panel concluded with pledges from Hon. Seyi Jakande to continue the educational investments made by the current administration while introducing innovations. Through dialogue and mentorship, Jakande transformed the celebration into a catalyst for change.
