Good afternoon. It’s a pleasure to be here at this month’s Devs in Government, which has grown into a powerful platform for transforming the nation’s Federal Public Service. I am honored to extend greetings on behalf of Galaxy Backbone’s Managing Director/Chief Executive, Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, who regrets being unable to join us today due to pressing commitments out of town, but has entrusted me to represent him.
Today’s theme, “Innovating Digital Solutions for Improved Local Government Service Delivery,” resonates strongly with Galaxy Backbone’s mission to bridge the digital divide and drive inclusive digital access across Nigeria. It’s an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas on harnessing technology to transform local government operations, enhancing the effectiveness and accessibility of public services.
One key initiative advancing this goal is the 774 LG Connectivity Project, spearheaded by Dr. Bosun Tijani. This project is designed to bridge the connectivity gap between urban and rural communities, ensuring that every part of Nigeria has access to high-speed broadband.
