Pitch Communications has announced the 4th edition of its Annual Public Lecture and Award of Excellence, scheduled to take place in December.
The event, launched in 2021 as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative, is aimed at fostering youth development and encouraging leadership across different sectors in Nigeria.
This year’s theme, “Roles of Youths for a Prosperous Nigeria: Strategies and Action Plans”, will feature the Honorable Commissioner of Wealth Creation and Employment, Mr. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe, as the keynote speaker.
The lecture will also include discussions from influential youth panelists, addressing pressing challenges facing Nigerian youths and exploring actionable strategies for their empowerment.
Past editions of the event have focused on critical issues such as the dangers of hard drug consumption and youth involvement in elections. This year’s theme is expected to ignite fresh conversations on the importance of youth engagement in national development.
In line with tradition, the event will also honor individuals who have made remarkable contributions in government, private institutions, and non-profit organizations.
However, for the first time, awardees will be determined through a public e-voting system, ensuring transparency in the selection process.

Award categories include recognition for great personalities, local government chairmen, council legislators, and young entrepreneurs.
Winners will not only be celebrated across major national news platforms but will also receive support from Pitch Communications, including the deployment of raw food banks to their communities and essential items for the less privileged in 20 Local Governments and 37 LCDAs.
