As Nigeria’s First Lady’s RHI Food Outreach moves to Nassarawa State, the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated its commitment to supporting and encouraging Nigerians, families, and vulnerable communities.

Under this scheme, a trailer load of assorted food items is being donated to state governments for onward distribution to identified groups, courtesy of a notable and public-spirited industry that has made a commitment to make the food items available on a monthly basis.
According to the First Lady, the Food Outreach, targeted at Internally Displaced Persons, Persons with Disabilities, Leper Colonies, and other vulnerable groups, will be taken around the country to ease access to food.
“So far, the Federal Capital Territory, Kano, and now Nassarawa states have benefited from the scheme under the Social Investment Programme of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI). By the grace of God, our next stop will be in Benue State, while other states will also benefit in due course.”
In addition to the Social Investment programme, the Renewed Hope Initiative also has other programmes focusing on health, agriculture, education, and economic empowerment to better the lives of families in the nation. So far, RHI has:
