In a landmark gathering at the Lagos State Secretariat Community Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja, the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) introduced its transformative mantra, “LEAD,” setting the tone for the newly appointed executives’ tenure from 2024 to 2026.

Led by President Alhaji Ayodeji AbdurRauf, the National Executive Council outlined a comprehensive vision aimed at fostering Leadership, Empowerment, Agent of Change, and Da’wah within the organization.

Drawing from the strategic objectives delineated during a retreat in Ibadan, Oyo State in 2021, AbdurRauf elucidated the four pillars encapsulated in the “LEAD” initiative.

Leadership initiatives will focus on nurturing future leaders through investment in institutions like the HAVEK Leadership Academy and Fountain University Osogbo.

Empowerment efforts will prioritize the recognition and support of women and youth, enabling them to fulfill their potential across all spheres.

Additionally, NASFAT pledges to serve as an Agent of Change, championing moral rejuvenation and wealth creation aligned with Islamic values.

The commitment to Da’wah underscores NASFAT’s dedication to promoting authentic and moderate Islamic teachings through various educational platforms.

During the meeting, Chief Missioner Imam Abdul-Azeez Onike delivered a poignant address titled “Arise la rika,” emphasizing the significance of leaving a legacy of positive impact. Drawing inspiration from the Quran, he underscored the importance of accountability and striving for excellence in both personal and professional endeavors. Onike emphasized the essential ingredients for success: “Good Intention” for individual achievement and “Unity and Love” for collective progress.

The six-hour gathering provided an opportunity for each portfolio holder to present their strategic objectives for the upcoming two years, underlining NASFAT’s commitment to transparent governance and progress.

As NASFAT embarks on this transformative journey under the “LEAD” mantra, the organization is poised to make significant strides in advancing its mission and serving its members and communities with excellence.
