A campaign group, National Independent Campaign Organization for Tinubu (NICOT), has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his public endorsement of his party’s presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at a rally in Lafia, Nasarawa state, describing the strong endorsement as a master stroke.
Chief campaigner of the group, Comrade Razaq Olokoba in a release in Lagos on Sunday, February 5, 2023 said the endorsement came at a time when some saboteurs were clinging glasses that they were succeeding in polluting the political atmosphere against Tinubu dropping the name of the president falsely, expressing the delight that, “the outburst of the President in favour of Tinubu has put destructive spanner in their evil machination.”
Olokoba, a Chattered Public Administrator (CPA) and member, Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), gave kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari for the timely shocker punch he gave to the enemies of the country whose antics have always been how to disrupt the north/south synergy the coming election will cement, expressing the delight that, “declaring Tinubu as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria after him is a complete pin-down from which the saboteurs are not likely to recover before, during and after the election.”
The youthful activist and National President, Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), who commended those behind the rotational presidency in Nigeria described them severally as Nation Builders, lovers of Nigeria and credit-worthy advocates of unity and progress of the country, asserting that, the power shift system was aimed at giving every citizen of the country a sense of belonging just as it happens in other advanced country of the world.
According to him, President’s Buhari’s training as a military man has been brought to bear on the trending falsehood that he has abandoned his benefactor and friend, Tinubu and thereby wanted to disrupt the north/south synergy that is the sure chord of unity in the country, saying, “the Saturday’s master stroke by Buhari shore up his reputation as the real father of the nation and patriotic party member.
Against this background, Olokoba therefore urged all well-meaning Nigerians home and at the Diaspora to support the endorsement of Tinubu by President Buhari with a view to making his declaration sacrosanct and a reality on February, 25, 2023, believing that, it is by doing that, that the vision of better tomorrow for the country could be guaranteed.
