A total of 32 people including a nursing mother, have been kidnapped by armed bandits along Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna road in two separate incidents on Friday, 8 June, 2018.
The first incident occurred early Friday with 22 people including the nursing mother were kidnapped at Kwanar-tsauni, between Udawa and Labi.
At about 6.25pm on the same day, 10 more people were kidnapped at Kuriga on the same highway.
Now the bandits have contacted the husband of the nursing mother demanding for a N5 million ransom for her release alongside with her infant. The husband is a retiree whose gratuity cannot pay the huge ransom.
