The ugly incident which occurred on Wednesday afternoon around cassette bus stop, threw the entire area into confusion as businesses were forced to close.

A reliable source said the Police officer was returning to the bank when the gunmen in Marwa suddenly appeared and shot him in the neck at close range.

The victim, who was first taken to Randle General Hospital, was turned back before he was later rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Idi-Araba, Mushin where he was confirmed dead.
