A prominent youthful Islamic scholar, Abdul-Qadir Aridunu popularly known as ‘Alfa Youth’ has advised Nigerian youth to be focussed and steadfast in any profession and vocation they decide to lay their hands on saying, being focussed and steadfast wins the race.
Aridunu dropped the advice at a well attended programme at Alakuko area of Lagos State on Thursday where he spoke on how to achieve goals in life, warning against constant shifting of ground in any vocation impatiently because according to him, a rolling stone gathers no moist.
Speaking further, the vocal cleric asserted that, one of the best ways to succeed in life and achieve one’s goal in life is by studying some successful elders in the society with the sole aim of being like them, stating that, success will come through listening to their advice, following their foot path and emulating their ways of life.
Aridunu also stated that, by opening your heart up to listen to their advice and making use of it, success and achievement of goals would come faster and much easier than expected, insisting that, whoever follows the paths of successful ones in the society will also succeed.
“It is important to focus on the kind of attitude that you choose to display when you are at work to turn your dreams into reality, rather than staying rigidly on what you have already known,” the youthful Mallam admonished, reminding that, “all the successful people you know have passed through thick and thin before reaching their goals and so, you should also persevere and be steadfast to reach your own goals of life.”
Anything anybody wants to do in life, Aridunu said, he should have it constantly in his mind that there are ups and downs but all the challenges can be surmounted through steadfastness, doggedness and perseverance.
Present at the event were so many scholars across Nigeria like Sheikh Jamiu Amiolohun, Imaam Ojibara, Arole Zambo, Olubori Gold and Hadji Bosun (Hbbc), among other scholars of repute.
