Nigeria has recorded 91 new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 1273 the total number of confirmed cases in the country.
Announcing this in the early hours of Monday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said Lagos recorded 43 new cases, Sokoto eight, Taraba six, Kaduna and Gombe five each, Ondo, FCT, Edo and Oyo three each, Osun two, while Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Ebonyi and Kebbi recorded one each.
So far, 239 persons have been discharged while 40 persons have unfortunately lost their lives.
