The push for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term in office has gathered momentum following the procurement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms by Hon. James Faleke.
Faleke, who chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation and represents Ikeja Federal Constituency, obtained the N100 million forms on behalf of the President, effectively kickstarting preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
A prominent ally of the President and founder of the Tinubu Support Groups, Faleke’s action is widely seen as a formal signal of Tinubu’s readiness to seek re-election.
The forms were officially handed over during a brief ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday, where the APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, declared the process open and presented the documents to the lawmaker.
