The All Progressives Congress Chairman of Mosan Okunola LCDA and State Women Leader of The Mandate Movement, Hon. Opeyemi Adunni Akindele, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu, and all APC faithful nationwide on the resounding victory of Senator Monday Okpebholo in the just-concluded Edo State governorship election.
In her statement on Monday, Hon. Akindele described the victory as a monumental achievement that showcases the strength, unity, and vision of the APC under the exceptional leadership of President Tinubu.
She noted that Okpebholo’s victory reflects the trust and confidence that the people of Edo State have in the party’s ability to drive progressive governance and sustainable development.
“I want to congratulate President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu, and the entire APC family across the country on the remarkable victory of Senator Monday Okpebholo in Edo State. This victory is not only a testament to our party’s unyielding commitment to good governance but also a reflection of the people’s belief in the leadership of the APC,” she said.
Hon. Akindele also commended the people of Edo State for their peaceful conduct throughout the electoral process and for turning out in large numbers to exercise their constitutional right.
“I wish to extend my appreciation to the good people of Edo for ensuring a peaceful election and for turning out en masse to vote for progress. Your commitment to democracy is truly commendable,” she added.
Speaking further, Hon. Akindele expressed her optimism for future victories for the APC, particularly in the forthcoming governorship elections in Ondo, Ekiti, and Osun states.
