Coalition of many Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Monday rallied for the newly inaugurated President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos soliciting Nigerians ‘ support for him and his administration.
The rally, which took place at the famous Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan was led by the Convener and National President of the Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), Comrade Razaq Olokoba was to felicitate with Tinubu, whose inauguration took place at the Eagles Square, Abuja, the nation’s capital city.
According to the renowned activist, the new President would need the support of the populace to succeed, reminding that, “Governance is a collective responsibility of all and sundry and not an exclusive duty of an individual.”
He therefore urged all Nigerians, irrespective of their political affiliation, religious beliefs and social leaning to rally round the new President, saying, “he is a man with the Midas touch to fix Nigeria properly.”
While concluding, the vocal social commentator and public analyst assured that, Tinubu would not disappoint, saying, “he has once again found himself in a familiar terrain where he knows how to operate best.”
