The candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi has landed in a huge mess after Pastor Frank Onwumere accused him of giving N2 Billion to Christian bodies for endorsement.
This was made known in a petition the pastor wrote to the Christian Association of Nigeria. In the letter, he claimed that the money given to them didn’t reach him but was cornered by some church leaders who have been receiving the labor party candidate in their churches.
He made it known that the money grew wings immediately after Peter Obi disbursed it instead of it being shared among members of the Christian bodies to enable them to mobilize for the labor party candidate.
In the letter, he mentioned that his church will not be able to mobilize for the labor party candidate because he felt cheated with the funds that weren’t disbursed to his church.
It is worthy of note that some mega churches like Dunamis International and Living Faith AKA Winners Chapel have been pushing the Peter Obi agenda.
