To Tiwa, the film, in which she plays the lead role and executive produced, is a ‘dream fulfilled.’
The 43-year-old star posted on Instagram on Wednesday, saying the movie ‘has been over two years in the making, and I must say this is probably one of the most adventurous, fulfilling things I’ve done.’
Titled ‘Water and Garri,’ the film tells the story of Aisha (Savage), an ambitious fashion designer returning to her native home after 10 years in the U.S following a family bereavement, to face the new reality of life.
Directed by Meji Alabi, the film will be launched worldwide on Prime Video.
